Coach Chadbourne brings over a decade of dedicated experience as a varsity baseball coach, most recently at York High School, where he has played a pivotal role in the development and success of young athletes. Under his leadership, the Wildcats achieved a historic milestone by securing their first State Championship in 2013. His coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and a strong competitive spirit, contributing to the Wildcats’ status as perennial playoff contenders with an impressive record of 119-42 over the past ten seasons.

Before his tenure at York High School, Coach Chadbourne served as the head varsity baseball coach at Wells High School, where he successfully guided the program to the playoffs in six of his seven years. His commitment to fostering talent and nurturing the growth of players has been a hallmark of his coaching career.

A former collegiate athlete, Coach Chadbourne played baseball at the University of Southern Maine, where he excelled as a left-handed pitcher and still holds several career pitching records. His accomplishments earned him induction into the USM Baseball Hall of Fame in 1998, reflecting his dedication to the sport.

In addition to his coaching roles, Coach Chadbourne founded the Saco Bay PT Legion program and the York Wildcat Summer Baseball Program. These initiatives underscore his commitment to providing comprehensive developmental opportunities for youth baseball players, ensuring their success both on and off the field.
