Catching:
Coastal Riptide is offering a comprehensive catcher’s clinic focused on all major aspects of being behind the plate. During each session players will receive instruction on stance, signs, receiving & blocking, framing, throwing, fielding bunts, and developing a strong pitcher/catcher relationship.
Pitchers:
- Mound Management- Learn a basic routine you can follow to ensure a repeatable process to ensure consistency with every pitch
- Grips- Build a foundation for each pitch grip to find what works best for you
- Pitching with Intent- Understanding pitch location and what to throw at different counts
- Identifying your process- Building your personalized toolbox that includes a pregame warm-up, arm care, and bullpen routines
- The 5 Tool Pitcher - Learn the building blocks every pitcher needs to succeed at each level

Middle Infielders / Corners Clinic
Fall Infield Clinic
All around hands improvement (short hops, quick hands, backhand forehand, fielding posture, etc)
Position specific:
⁃ middle infield - double play footwork, timing, progression into throwing across diamond. General fielding reps.
⁃ Third base - position around the bag (type of hitter, number of outs), double play footwork.
Other drills:
⁃ Steals - footwork around the base, tagging, communication.
⁃ Cutoff drills
⁃ Game simulation (simulate game-like scenarios)

-Age-appropriate approach to fundamental hitting principles
-Emphasis on vision, balance, and hand placement.
-Multiple drill stations focusing on contact, leading up to live batting practice in Coastal Riptide's new baseball facility.
